Meet Dakota Wint, the famous traveller, who is on his way to explore the deepest corners of the world:

Even though the world is about 4.5 billion years old there are still new things, new places and new cultures and traditions to explore. And to help us explore this famous influencer, content creator and filmmaker, Dakota Wint has dedicated the majority of his adult life to exploring the taboo and hidden world of unique traditions, rituals and religious practices.

Over the years, Dakota has travelled to different places and was able to know the different traditions and taboos from different parts of the earth which are still in practice. Dakota mentioned he has travelled places like India, the middle east, Peru, Oaxaca, Sonora, Mexico and many other places and came across different tribes and their rituals which he has later shared on his podcast. He said when he was in India, he meets the man-eating cannibals known as the Aghori in the holy city of Varanasi. Dakota has made a short documentary released on YouTube in June 2021 called “Holy Men of The Dead” showing his adventure meeting and learning about the Aghori’s.

After India, Dakota Wint travelled to the middle east where he learned about the mystical side of the Abrahamic religions. During this time, he was experiencing all the incredible historical spots referenced in the Bible and other holy books but he got caught up in the Israel-Palestine conflict. He then moved to Peru, where he spent 6 months living amongst an Amazonian tribe called the Shipibo.  he further went to explore Mexico, where I still currently live, learning about the shamanic practices found in the indigenous communities here. From Oaxaca, he moved north into Sonora, where the indigenous Seri people live. His last quest was of meeting the Wixarikas or the Huicholes – the Peyote eating tribe of Mexico where He spent a month and a half living with Marakame (spiritual healer) Don Juan from a small community in Jalisco.

Other than being a famous influencer, content creator and filmmaker. Dakota is also, storyteller, explorer and podcast host. Dakota is currently working on his first novel which is a sort of badly influenced Kerouac and Ginsberg styled story about a runaway travelling south to Mexico, where he ends up Peyote-drunk and in love.

Dakota Wint has discovered there is more to learn about this world, especially spiritually, as a result of his interactions with many tribes and his participation in their rituals. He’s also delighted to be able to share the experiences of these native groups with the broader audience. In case you wish to know more about these stories, follow Dakota Wint on:
