Famous celebrity tattoo artist Andrew Arteaga is a true inspiration for the young aspirants in the tattoo industry and others as well. His story is a reminder to those who believe in dedication and consistency for their passion and path to successful happy lives. Furthermore, his life is also an inspiration, motivation and reminder to the demotivated people.
He leaned on his youth to help him figure out what he wanted to do with his life. His family had never been wealthy, and they couldn’t provide him with much. Arteaga was a naturally skilled artist who loved to sketch, paint, and sing, among other things. He spent the majority of his leisure time drawing and always came out on top in any art competition he entered. His love for painting became stronger, and all he wanted to do was make a living doing it. Unfortunately, his family was not excited about the notion; becoming an artist was not a viable professional choice, especially given his family’s financial hardship. After all of Arteaga’s hopes and dreams were destroyed, he had no choice but to join a street gang. During the course of his two-year sentence, Andrew grew his interest in tattoos exponentially, after receiving his first one and began studying everything having to do with the skill shortly after. He then decided to become a practising tattoo artist over the remainder of his sentence. However, after his release, he didn’t pursue a career as a tattoo artist. Instead, he decided to go back to school to pursue a degree.
However, with the help of a close friend and his stepfather who greatly supported his dreams, Andrew was able to make a proper career out of his passion for tattooing. “For the past 12 years I’ve done nothing but dedicate everything to this full time 24/7 with no brakes to build something with a strong backbone and it’s only grown more and more every year not just in tattoos but in other ways that have opened doors to a whole other world of business. The future is unpredictable due to the endless options that I have on my plate only time will tell”, says Andrew.
